Earring and Bracelet Set

Lapiz and Silver Bracelet/Earrings Set

These are hand made with Lapis Lazuli and glass beads on sterling silver wire.

This is an opera bag. I have been making these for a long time. It is a small drawstring pouch that was originally used by ladies that frequented the opera hence it’s name. It is also called a gypsy bag because this style of bag was also use by gypsy ladies. It is about the size of a standard-sized soft ball and is very convenient to carry and easy to conceal. I have an art night every Thursday at my house where a few of my friends and I get together and just do art. During one of these art night sessions one of my friends saw the bags that I had been making and suggested that I start selling them. So that is when my daughter opened my new Etsy shop. If you like this and would like to purchase it you can visit my Etsy shop here http://www.etsy.com/shop/AleemasCrafting and see what’s in store, or just follow the link to it at the end of this page. I only have 4 items up there right now but hopefully my daughter will be adding more as soon as she can.

Carnival Glass

Mechnical Pencil & Me

Here is another older one. This was completed in Jan of  ’02’

I wanted to show some of my older work. I finished this back in November of 2002.

I’m getting closer to being done with Chakras. Now I have to wait till it dries and go over all the black with Prussian to deepen it. I’m happy now.  This was gritting on my mind like sandpaper. I’ve been working on this since last year, and I feel like I am finally getting close to being done.

Ancient Roads

Ancient Roads
Once upon a time there was a road that ran along Lake Worth Beach. The oldtimers called it ‘the beach road’. That road, even though it is still there, is now sumerged underwater. I have heard lots of stories about ‘the beach road’ and that guys and gals courted there.
This drawing is also about the Ancient Roads that led from Atlantis to the rest of the world in ancient times. All this is underwater. Maybe one day this will reappear.
